ARK is Angela Moyer, Raghu Sudhakara, and Kristina Brandt. ARK was formed when the three decided to expand their bookclub into something more; something that would explore their creativity and enhance their writing skills.
At first the goal was to write fifty words based loosely on the chosen picture of the month, however, once they found themselves exceeding that amount, the ante was raised to five hundred words. Shortly thereafter the stakes had risen again and a new word limit was set to one thousand words.
So ARK put the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" to the test. On one hand, ARK has discovered that sometimes a thousand words is not enough and at other times realized that just a few thought provoking words can have a profound effect.

Angela is a genuine, empathetic, creative and idealistic woman who is raising an active six year old, and enjoys four wheeling on rugged (not for the faint at heart) jeep trails.
Raghu is part adventurous, free-spirited dabbler and part academically oriented thinker, who professes to have ultimate allegiance only to a writer’s right to a ‘free’ conscience.
Kris is an intelligent, pragmatic to a fault, sarcastic optimistic, renaissance woman who owns a vineyard in the desert at the base of the mountains.
